Summary	Expression of Interest for Purchase of Interpretation Services for EU Comes to Your School Japan Description The subject of this call for tenders is the provision of consecutive interpretation services for the 2026 edition of the EU Comes to Your School initiative organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan in cooperation with the diplomatic missions of EU Member States The contractor will be required to provide suitably qualified interpreters for up to 22 high school visits taking place on 12 13 November 2026 at different locations across Japan covering the English Japanese language combination in both directions EN JA The interpreters will facilitate communication between EU and Member State Ambassadors and diplomats and the participating schools and students during presentations discussions and exchanges Each school visit is expected to last up to three hours including a brief meeting with the school principal teachers the presentation Q A session and other related activities Most speakers will be fluent but non native English speakers interpretation will ensure clear and effective communication throughout the visit The interpreters shall be professionally trained and capable of providing accurate fluent and reliable interpretation for a large public audience The contractor shall maintain close coordination with the Delegation and shall liaise directly with each Member State Embassy in Tokyo to ensure the necessary logistical arrangements are in place for the day of the event The contractor will also be responsible for making all necessary travel arrangements for the interpreters and for covering all related travel accommodation if needed and subsistence costs Start date for expression of interest 28 08 2026 Europe Brussels Deadline for expression of interest 12 09 2026 03 29 Europe Brussels
